Two Artist Books: A Fun Introduction to Snake Accordion and Hand-Sewn Single Signature Books

In this 90-minute art workshop students will learn how to make two versatile types of artist’s books—the snake accordion and the hand-sewn single-signature. Each of these book styles provides a strong introduction to two major types of artist books.  Upon completion of the workshop, students will have two completed books and will be well-equipped to go on to making their own variations of accordion and hand-sewn artist books at home. 

Use the books for your own art or writing, or gift them to a friend. This class is taught by working artist Kelly Slater.
